Family Solicitor
Job Description
You will manage your own caseload of family law matters, advising clients on a range of sensitive and often complex issues. The work will primarily focus on private family law, offering exposure to high-quality matters and the opportunity to build strong client relationships.Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a caseload of family law matters from instruction through to conclusion
- Advising clients on divorce, separation, and financial settlements
- Handling private children matters, including arrangements and disputes
- Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and court applications
- Representing clients at hearings where appropriate
- Liaising with courts, counsel, and third parties
- Supporting negotiation and alternative dispute resolution where possible About You
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with experience in family law
- Strong understanding of private family law procedures and practice ()
- Experience managing your own caseload independently
- Excellent client care and communication skills, particularly in sensitive situations
- Strong drafting and organisational abilities
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
