Head of Supported Housing \n\nFarringdon\n\nAbout Us\n\nMetropolitan Thames Valley Housing is one of the UK`s leading providers of affordable housing and supported housing services. We employ over 1900 people to manage and develop our large portfolio of nearly 56,000 homes serving over 75,000 customers across London, the East Midlands, Southern and the East of England.\n\nThis role\n\nWe are looking for a strategic and experienced Head of Supported Housing to lead the operational delivery and development of our national supported housing services.\n\nThis is a leadership role with accountability for a large, geographically dispersed portfolio, overseeing specialist housing management services and supporting customers with a wide range of needs including homelessness, mental health, learning disabilities and asylum seekers/refugees. \n\nYou will shape and deliver strategic plans, ensuring services are high-quality, compliant and customer-focused, while driving performance across key customer, colleague, commercial and compliance metrics.

\n\nKey aspects of the role include:\n\nLeading a large team to deliver consistently high-performing services\t\nDriving delivery against KPIs, quality standards and regulatory frameworks\t\nShaping strategic direction and contributing to wider MTVH Support and Customer Services priorities\t\nContributing to a programme of investment in supported housing and development of new schemes\t\nLeading service improvement, innovation and the development of new business opportunities\t\nActing as senior representative with commissioners, funders and external stakeholders\t\nEnsuring strong customer engagement, including co-design approaches to service delivery\t\nOverseeing customer satisfaction, audit outcomes and continuous improvement\t\nProviding sector leadership, maintaining expertise in supported housing policy and practiceWhat you'll need to succeed\n\nExtensive senior leadership experience in supported housing, including services such as homelessness, mental health, learning disabilities or refugee/migrant support\t\nProven experience managing large, dispersed teams and delivering strong operational performance\t\nStrong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and delivering value for money\t\nDemonstrable experience developing business cases and driving service growth and innovation\t\nExperience working with commissioners and funders across housing, health and social care\t\nStrong understanding of supported housing policy, regulation and best practice\t\nExcellent communication and influencing skills, including experience presenting at senior leadership or Board level\t\nAbility to build inclusive, high-performing teams and lead through change\t\nStrong commitment to safeguarding and delivering safe, high-quality services \n\nOur promise\n\nAll employment decisions at MTVH are based on business needs, job requirements and individual qualifications, without regard to age, disability, gender reassignment, marital status, pregnancy or maternity, race or religion, sex or sexual orientation.\n\nWe are proud to have been recognised by Disability Confident for our commitment to disabled people and those with long term health conditions by providing fair and equal opportunities for all applicants enabling them to fulfil their potential and realise their aspirations. \n\nMetropolitan Thames Valley provides affordable housing for people living in London, the South East, East Midlands and East of England.\n\nWe also offer a range of care and support services.
